This circa 400 year old limetree stands on the Gschaider col between Pöllau bei Hartberg and Birkfeld. Unfortunately, one of the two limetrees burned down in May 2010, it burned from the inside out and needed to be pruned as the adjacent farm was also on fire. Luckily it continues growing.
Underneath the beautiful limetree you find the perfect spot for a snack, take a little break and enjoy the wonderful natural landscape.
