The forest trail starts at the parking lot of the Augustinian Canons' Monastery in Vorau and mostly leads through the monastery forests over a length of 4.5 kilometers.

On around 60 teaching boards you can find out more about the forests, plants and animals in the area around Vorau Abbey. The different types of wood, animals and mushrooms of the region and the topics of forest management and forest density are explained.

Starting from the Vorau Abbey, the tour leads to the Brühl and the Archduke Johann Höhe and back to Vorau Abbey.
