In the approximately 30,000m² Aupark, the long-standing tourism tradition of the Pöllauer Valley is evident: It was established around 1900 by the Beautification Association. Boat rides for "summer holiday guests" were organized on the pond. Together with the adjacent outdoor pool, this gave Pöllau the reputation of "modern summer holidays" at that time.
It is a popular starting point for walkers and runners. Children enjoy playing at the beautifully designed playground. Today, the park is often sought after as a cool and quiet spot in summer. In winter, children and adults skate on the pond. The Aupark has served, both then and now, as a place of recreation and an oasis of calm. Concerts (e.g. by the Pöllau music band) are also regularly held in the Aupark.
"SAM" stands for "Sammeltaxi Oststeiermark" and closes the mobility gap where buses and trains do not operate. The SAM stop in the Aupark is HF 5949 (Pöllau/Swimming Pool), you can find more stops here.
