The round trip leads from Wenigzell to Waldbach and further to the Arzberghütte (with a fantastic view). Via St. Jakob im Walde you return to the starting point.

The Arzergrunde in the Joglland - Waldheimat region also partly follows the paths of the approximately 187 kilometer long route "The Grand Jogl". The Arzbergrunde, on the other hand, is perfectly suited for a day tour on the bike. Numerous refreshment stops in the villages or at the Arzberg hut invite you to take a break. If you like, you can also pay a visit to the Kräftereich in St. Jakob im Walde or the water games in Waldbach. In Wenigzell, the Barefoot Park or the Joglland Oasis offer further opportunities for a stop or as a change from a day on the bike!

This tour is only signposted with "Arzbergrunde" if it does not run on the tour "The Grand Jogl". Otherwise, follow the signs "The Grand Jogl".

From Vienna: via the A2, exit Pinggau - Friedberg, Rohrbach an der Lafnitz, Mönichwald, Waldbach, Wenigzell From Graz: via the A2, exit Gleisdorf, Kaindorf, Pöllau bei Hartberg, Schloffereck, direction Vorau, left after the Kreuzwirt to Wenigzell You can find detailed information about how to get there: here!
Wenigzell, children's playground, old armory, in front of the school, village square (free)

We start at the village square in Wenigzell
At the end of the village we turn onto the main road
At the first crossing we leave the road to the left and drive through the underpass.
Now we drive to the heating plant of Wenigzell
We keep to the right and follow the road until we reach a piece of forestIn the forest we turn left at the first crossroads and follow the road until we reach the main road of Waldbach.
We drive through Waldbach and turn left after the inn "Zur Post".
We continue on this road until we reach the Arzberghütte, where we can refresh ourselves
Now we continue to St. Jakob im Walde
We follow the signs "großer Jogl" until we reach Gasthof Berger
Here we keep to the right and turn onto a forest road
At the next crossing we turn left
We continue to Riegler Kohlstatt and then to Gasthof Orthofer
Back to Wenigzell we drive on the country road
Shortly before the Wetterkreuzen we turn left
Now we follow the tour "Der große Jolg" again to get back to our starting point

Beware of working machines, wood or potholes on the road, grazing livestock and vehicle traffic (forest roads are working areas and workplaces)! A few tips on correct and fair behavior: Cycling and mountain biking in the forest (oesterreich.gv.at)

Cyclists should avoid visiting the forest approx. 1.5 hours before sunrise and after sunset, as wild animals are particularly active at this time.

Plastic bottles, handkerchiefs, cigarette butts etc. have no place in the forest! Please make sure that you do not leave any garbage in the forest.

Camping and making fires is strictly forbidden in the forest!
