Discover the Putzn-Graben circular trail from Grafendorf through forests, hills, and rolling fields—with refreshments and views at the Mesnerhäusl.
The hike begins at the main square in Grafendorf. The trail leads along the Stambach stream into the forest, where you can enjoy the refreshing natural surroundings. About halfway along the route and at the highest point, you reach the “Mesnerhäusl” in Pongrazen, where you can take a culinary break. Here, regional specialties and the view of the hills of Eastern Styria provide new energy. The way back leads through gentle fields and past traditional old farms until you arrive back at the main square in Grafendorf.

The start is at the main square in Grafendorf near Hartberg. From there, we leave the village and follow the road towards Stambach. After the village of Stambach, we turn right onto a path that leads gently uphill and takes us past the Putz & Binder health farm. The path then runs idyllically along the Stambach stream up to the highest point of the route, the refuge hut at Menserhaus. There you will be rewarded with a wonderful view before heading back to Grafendorf near Hartberg.
