From the Almenland Nature Park to the historic Semmering Pass and the Feistritzsattel, this route is a true paradise for motorcycle enthusiasts.
This tour takes riders through the Almenland Nature Park, the Joglland-Waldheimat region, the historic Semmering area and the Wechselland region. Winding mountain roads, quiet country lanes and scenic ridge roads guarantee an exciting and varied riding experience. Along the way, rolling hills, dense forests and picturesque valleys are complemented by charming villages, traditional inns and stunning viewpoints.

- The tour starts in the centre of Passail.
- From Passail, the route leads via Fladnitz an der Teichalm up to the Sommeralm.
- At the iconic wind turbine on the Sommeralm, a first photo stop with magnificent panoramic views is well worth taking.
- The tour then continues along winding roads towards Gasen.
- In Gasen, the Stoani Haus is an ideal place for a short break.
- The route continues via Birkfeld, Fischbach and Ratten up to the Alpl.
- From Alpl, the scenic loop begins, leading over the Semmering Pass.
- The road continues through the Adlitzgraben, passing the impressive Semmering Railway Viaduct, before heading via Kalte Rinne to Breitenstein.
- The tour then continues through Gloggnitz and Trattenbach before reaching the winding Feistritzsattel Pass.
- From there, the route returns via Ratten and Filzmoos to rejoin the main tour.
- The journey continues to St. Jakob im Walde, Waldbach-Mönichwald and St. Lorenzen am Wechsel.
- The route then leads via Vorau and the impressive Vorau Abbey towards Pöllauberg.
- From there, it continues through Unterneuberg to Pöllau.
- The tour then passes through Rabenwald, Floing and Anger on the way back towards the Almenland Nature Park.
- Before returning to Passail via Naintsch and Heilbrunn, a short detour to the ruins of Waxenegg Castle is highly recommended.
The tour is best enjoyed between spring and autumn. Be sure to allow enough time for the many scenic viewpoints and inviting places to stop along the way. The section across the historic Semmering and the Feistritzsattel offers some of the most enjoyable riding of the entire route. Travelling on weekdays usually means less traffic and an even more relaxed riding experience.
