House trail Jogllandloipe, St. Jakob im Walde

• We start at the house trail, as with the entire Jogllandloipe trail network, in the start/finish arena at Gasthof Orthofer in St. Jakob im Walde
• On the house trail, we have to cover around 3.3 kilometers and always follow the purple markings
• Right at the start, we run past the snowmaking pond before we have to tackle our first ascent after a short flat section
• We then run briefly on the flat before preparing for the descent
• We try to carry the momentum with us and enter a small section of forest after the so-called Blochplatz
• At the Riegler Kohlstatt crossroads, at around 1132 meters above sea level, we turn sharp left to stay on the marked house trail
• After a short time, we reach the Blochplatz again
• On the right-hand side of the trail, we head straight up a small incline before coming to a short descent with a right-hand bend
• The last section of the trail takes us past the snowmaking pond and back to the start/finish arena.

For those who don't have their own equipment, there is an equipment rental shop right at the trail entrance. Here you can choose between standard, premium and racing equipment. A professional waxing service is also offered.
