This is an easy course suitable for hobby runners. The entire route is on asphalt and is not very difficult. Due to the continuous lighting, this course can also be run perfectly in the evening. It offers a very beautiful panorama.

The district capital of Weiz is located in eastern Styria and is very easy to reach via the A2 motorway from Vienna (approx. 2 hrs) and Graz (approx. 30 min).
- Arrival from Vienna and from Graz:
On the A2 coming from Vienna and from Graz, take motorway exit 161 / Gleisdorf West in the direction of B54/B64. Follow the B65 / Gleisdorfer Bundesstraße until you reach the B54 / Wechselbundesstraße. At the roundabout, take the second exit north to the B64 / Rechberg-Bundesstraße. After approx. 15 km you will reach the town of Weiz.
- From Graz via the main road: Take Kaiser-Franz-Josef-Kai and Wickenburggasse to Jahngasse / B67a. Follow the B72 to Weiz and take the exit towards Weiz -West.
Route planner
- Starting from the start, the route first leads us slightly uphill along the Landschaweg in the direction of the Weizberg church to the field path, past the grammar school into the Keplergasse and then along the Birkfelder Straße to the Wegscheide.
- Here turn right towards Krottendorf on a level or slightly sloping route, pass the Allmer Inn to the centre of Krottendorf.
- Now follow the Krottendorf main road south to Regerstätten.
- Here turn right towards Preding, along the Lahnstraße.
- East of the Elin in a northerly direction into Anton-Lanner-Gasse and then like the beginner's run, past the Evangelical church, into Schillerstraße and along this again to Landschaweg and thus to the starting point.
If you need a short break, the Garden of Generations in Krottendorf is a great place to go.
