This HWW cycle route is part of the Wechselland Historical Long-Distance Hiking Trail (HWW), which tells the story of Wechselland along more than 100 HWW stations. More information can be found at www.wechsel-wandern.at.

This HWW cycle route (circular cycle route) leads from St. Lorenzen/Wechsel via Auerbach and Dechantskirchen to Schwaighof and from there via Hilmtor and Burgfeld back to St. Lorenzen/Wechsel. Along the HWW cycle route, you will pass the HWW station Schwaighof/Chapel, where you can learn about the importance of the landlord bailiffs in the past.

Arrival by car

Take the A2 highway to the Pinggau exit.
At the traffic circle, take the third exit in the direction of Pinggau.
Follow the B63 and then turn onto the B54 towards Hartberg.
Take the Thalberg exit and follow the signs to St. Lorenzen am Wechsel.

You can park at the Kulturhaus in St. Lorenzen am Wechsel.

The tour is not signposted throughout. Route guidance with app recommended.
