beekeeping Königshofer
Rettenegg
The beekeeping operation Königshofer is located in Rettenegg at an elevation of over 1000 meters and is managed by Franz and Zita. In addition to beekeeping, the family also runs an agricultural and pond farming business, as well as rental and surveying activities.
From a hobby beekeeping operation, a sideline business has developed with 150 to 180 bee colonies located in Joglland and Burgenland.
In addition to nine types of honey produced by the family, there are various kinds of honey wine, liqueurs, and spirits available for purchase. Propolis is also processed into drops and leather care products. For every occasion, the family offers candles and gift baskets that can be customized as desired.
