At the tavern Zum alten Peter, authentic Styrian home cooking is the focus – freshly prepared, rooted in the region, and served with love. The family-run business has a long tradition and is known for its cozy atmosphere and down-to-earth cuisine full of flavor.
In addition to a daily changing lunch menu, the à la carte menu invites you to enjoy: from classics of Styrian cuisine to seasonal specialties.
Whether for an elaborate dinner, a meeting with friends, or a sociable gathering – at the tavern Zum alten Peter, you will feel welcome right away. A place where tradition, hospitality, and culinary enjoyment come together – in the middle of the Pöllauer Tal Nature Park in East Styria.

We also warmly welcome celebrations, groups, and bus travelers on Saturdays – after prior arrangement and reservation, we are happy to open our tavern for you.
