Winemaker Wolfgang masters the “wine multiplication”: He produces fruit-driven, easily accessible wines with high quality potential that embody Styria. In special vintages, he also vinifies robust, fully ripe wines: “When nature provides the package, we pack it.”
Wolfgang's motto in the vineyard: healthy, ripe grapes from vital vineyards where beneficial insects find their place.
Every visit to the Buschenschank Retter-Kneissl is a delightful break from everyday life. Christina and Wolfgang are personally there for their guests on the opening days in March, July, and November, serving Styrian snacks and wine experiences. The dishes are served as they would prefer: from classic board snacks and meat bread to specialties like the wool pig platter, chutneys, or pickled black nuts, and much more.
Since 1962, wines, juices, and snack specialties have come from their own operation and selected regional partners.

Mon-Fri 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., Sat 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.
