The Tyrnaueralm Hütte is at the foot of the Rote Wand and therefore the perfect stop for a hike to the Rote Wand. It is located at around 1,350 meters above sea level and is a popular excursion hut. It can even be reached by car (from Tyrnau) on a toll road.

The funny hut landlord Erich (Alm-Erich) welcomes hungry hikers to the Tyrnauerlam Hütte, even now and then with a lively piece on the harmonica! The hut is the ideal stop for a hike on the Rote Wand. A rustic snack, cold drinks and a sunny terrace can be found at the alpine hut. There is no overnight accommodation at the hut!
