Traditional Gallbrunner inn

Birkfeld

Traditional tavern culture combined with creative ideas and good food, that's what awaits you at Gallbrunner in Waisenegg near Birkfeld in East Styria.

Bookable experiences

From the home-baked bread to the house-brewed Hoamatbier , everything at Gallbrunner is handmade. Here, tradition is not just talked about; the customs are maintained throughout the year, and the kitchen adapts accordingly.

The house specialty is the Gallbrunner pork roast from the wood oven with "a set of dumplings," which is still cooked on a traditional stove. As a dessert, guests can expect self-created chocolates from the daughter of the house.

The traditional inn Gallbrunner has been awarded one toque by Gault Millau. It is also represented in "Slow Food Styria" and is a Kulinarium Steiermark establishment that stands for regional quality and identity.
