The Steinriegel summit cross is located at 1,577 m above sea level and is surrounded by beautiful countryside and a wind farm.
A number of wind turbines have been turning there since 2005, supplying a total of around 24,000 households. This corresponds to an annual saving of 39,500 tons of CO2 compared to conventional energy generation.
