St. Jacob's Chapel Arzberg

Chapel for St. Jacob in Arzberg near Passail.

The most important Arzberg chapel is dedicated to St. Jacob the Elder, who is also the patron saint of the parish, and is closely linked to mining in Arzberg.

It was built in 1875, inside there is a painted stone statue of St. Jacob and a fresco. The little church was renovated in 1964 and 1999, and until 1963 the annual large procession for the parish festival led here. The chapel is now privately owned.
