Our guesthouse Gasthof Kirchenwirt is located at the beginning of St. Johann in der Haide, not far from the district capital Hartberg. We look forward to welcoming you as a holiday guest in one of our well-kept rooms or as a restaurant visitor in our rustic inn. In 1960, Erich and Herta Sommer took over the former farm with a small inn. In 1972 a new guesthouse with 18 comfort rooms was built, which was increased to 26 rooms in 1982. Today all of them can be easily reached by elevator. In 1994 Franz Sommer took over the management and is now the third generation to run the inn and guesthouse. In our home-style family business, HOSPITALITY is very important. Whether in the cozy guest rooms or in the spacious winter garden - we lovingly prepare Styrian specialties for you with fresh products from the region. From Monday to Sunday we serve you a delicious lunch menu with fresh products from the region between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m.
