Observation tower Haidenwald

Various hiking trails take you to the Haidenwald observation tower, where there is also a children's playground.
Panoramic circular hiking trail: Climate Future Trail The start and finish is in the Pöllau Castle Park (west of the Parkcafe), in the immediate vicinity of the town center of Pöllau, where there are also numerous culinary delights to take a break. The nature park landscape is probably one of the most diverse and beautiful spots in Styria.

• You start at the information board "Schattenspender Baum" in the castle park (west of the park cafe)
• Since you only get to know the southern part of the actual climate future path on this hike, do not follow the signposts for the time being, but leave the castle park in an easterly direction past the castle on Schmiedgasse, where at the Märzgasse intersection we come back to the signs for the Climate Future Path (coming from the northern part).
• Immediately after the roundabout (Pöllau Mitte) you will find the information point "Rainwater Utilization". This is not only explained here, a visual object was also created.
• The further course of the path takes you through the mountain forest to the Wieden.
• You will soon find yourself in the Haidenwald.
• At the information point "Show and test area" and "Forest with climate future" at the Haidenwald tower you will learn how important a climate-friendly       forest is.
•From here the path runs through forest, meadows and orchards back to the center of Pöllau to our starting point in the castle park.
