Stubenberg

After around thirty years of restoration, it is no longer marked on the maps as a "ruin", but as a "castle" again, as it was 300 years ago.

Neuhaus Castle is located in the center of the region of Apfelland-Stubenbergsee high above the Feistritzklamm with a wide view over the Stubenberg basin with its lake and the East Styrian hills to southern Burgenland; to the west you can see Graz's local mountain, the Schöckel, and behind it the Koralpe.

The castle is not open to the public. However, you can stay in Neuhaus Castle in comfortable apartments and magnificent suites.
