Museum of Folklore
Pöllau
The museum has three exhibition rooms with a large collection of household items.
For more than forty years, Johann Krogger has collected folkloric and, in the broadest sense, historical trinkets, and with his approximately 5000 exhibits, he vividly portrays the life of farmers in the region. Marvel at needle-flippers, gramophones, and numerous mementos from times gone by.
In the Folk Museum, visitors are not only transported to the "good old times," but can also experience extraordinary and curious items, such as a drill that bores square holes or a rare "Kracherl bottle" with a marble.
In the Pavilion, you will find a large number of confession and souvenir notes from all over the world.
Guided tours are offered year-round by prior telephone arrangement.
