Starting from Pöllau, head towards Pöllauberg and continue from there to Masenberg. For hiking enthusiasts, there are also hiking trails towards Masenberg or the forest educational trail directly at Masenberg.
Right above the shelter, you will find the summit cross. From there, you can enjoy a beautiful view all the way to Vorau.
For those who are hungry and thirsty, there are two hospitality establishments at Masenberg:

- Schutzhütte am Masenberg, Tel. +43 664 9142917
"SAM" stands for "Sammeltaxi Oststeiermark" and fills the mobility gap where buses and trains do not operate. The SAM stop at Masenberg, near Glückskapelle HF 5843 and you can find more stops here.
