On the Historic Long Distance Trail Wechselland, the history of the Wechselland region is made accessible on contemporary and innovatively designed display boards at more than 100 HWW stations.

This HWW station is part of the Historic Wide-Way Trail of Wechsellandes (HWW). More information can be found at www.wechsel-wandern.at. Each HWW station is dedicated to a chapter from the history of the changelands.

Theme: Overview High Nobility

For centuries aristocratic families shaped the Wechselland, whose history is described at this station. Near the station "Trahütte" is the Thalberger Schwaig, which is still inhabited by a noble family today.

About 30 meters south of the Trahütte (address: Festenburg 71, 8251 Bruck/Lafnitz).
