The inn Hochlantsch is located in the nature park municipality of Breitenau am Hochlantsch and combines Styrian hospitality with honest, hearty cuisine. Using regional products from the Almenland and the surrounding area, the team treats its guests to traditional specialties, game dishes, and homemade pastries.

The traditional Styrian cuisine at Gasthof Hochlantsch ranges from classic tavern dishes to fine game specialties, as well as homemade pastries and lovingly arranged desserts. Special emphasis is placed on regionality and quality: Game comes from the Breitenauer hunt, beef from Murbodn and ALMO beef, and many other ingredients come directly from the Almenland and the surrounding area. A daily menu also provides delightful variety. The culinary offerings are rounded off with Austrian beverages and the homemade Latschen limoncello.

As a meeting place for locals, guests, and associations, the inn offers space for up to 100 people in the restaurant area. In summer, a small terrace invites you to linger comfortably. For larger celebrations, weddings, theater performances, or annual general meetings, the spacious Barbarasaal is available – with up to 250 seats at tables or 350 people with appropriate seating. Bus groups are also warmly welcomed.

Due to its location in Breitenau am Hochlantsch, the Gasthof is also an ideal starting point for excursions and hikes around the Hochlantsch. After a tour through the nature of the Almenland, visitors like to stop here and enjoy genuine Styrian hospitality in a cozy atmosphere.
