Event Centre: Nature Park Arena Pöllauberg

With the new Nature Park Arena Pöllauberg a modern community centre was built that meets all requirements. The centre includes sports facilities with dressing room and buffet area, the municipal builder's yard, a skating ground, a youth room and an event hall, with mobile stage, which can be used for a variety of events and in winter for sporting activities.

The name "Nature Park Arean Pöllauberg" documents the identification with the Nature Park principles in the Pöllau Valley. The centre was mainly built from untreated larch wood, the roof is covered with vegetation, the energy is biomass-derived from a local heat supply system which is operated by seven farmers from Pöllauberg.

The Nature Park Arena Pöllauberg is open to everyone and allows for a multitude of uses: leisure and sport, cultural and social events, theatre, lectures and concerts or dance events. Because of mobile design elements the arena can accommodate up to 1000 visitors. A large parking area around the Nature Park Arena completes this project.
