Starting in the Schlosspark Pöllau, six information panels with astonishing facts about wilderness, forest, and water provoke contemplation. Tips on future challenges and opportunities presented by climate change are also highlighted.

“KLAR” Climate Change Adaptation Model Region

The municipalities of the Pöllau Valley, Pöllau and Pöllauberg, are among the first 20 regions in Austria that are actively dealing with adapting to the already existing climate change. This project is funded by the Climate and Energy Fund and is being implemented as part of the “Climate Change Adaptation Model Regions” program.

The Climate Future Path shows measures for adaptation for a liveable future. At several stations, tips and information for positive development amidst ongoing climate changes are provided. While walking the path, you can enjoy the beautiful sides of the Pöllau Valley Nature Park.
