Almost Every weekend, national and international artists take to the stage, who appreciate the "Culture Cellar" above all because of its special flair.

History
In 1985 it was decided to build the "Culture Cellar". The "Culture Cellar" was opened on September 24, 1988 after approx. 3 years of conversion work from the ice cream and beer warehouse to the "Culture Cellar". With a capacity of 150 people, the cellar has a club character that is very much appreciated by artists and visitors alike. Readings, smaller concerts, cabarets and plays were typical of the program in the first years of the event. A lot has changed since then. In the course of time, the Kulturkeller became more and more popular - also with young people. International and national artists have performed almost every weekend in recent years. Due to the regularity and abundance of events, the desire for changes naturally arose. For example, the technical facilities and local conditions were outdated and did not meet noise protection and safety standards. In February 2008, the long-awaited wish was fulfilled and the starting signal for the conversion was given. The following measures were implemented: redesign of the entrance area, demolition of the arena (additional warehouse/backstage), installation of a ventilation system (noise protection), new stage, new control room, improvement of the acoustics and renewal of the security area.

Concerts, clubbings, theatres, discussions, slide shows... the variety of events is enormous.
