When Wolfgang Schmallegger started viticulture at the end of the 80s just to have fun, it was just a nice sideline. But: one mountain wasn't enough! So in 1995 the brave dared to take a step that was unusual for the times: "Sali" was the first winegrower in the district to convert the business to controlled organic cultivation. And the success proved him right, because after a few years of loving, hard work, countless wine bottles tasted and the master in viticulture and winery, the bionier was able to turn his passion into his main profession.

Today it is impossible to imagine the Styrian Hartberg without the family wine-growing business with a tavern. And since the apples never fall far from the trunk, this is already being carried on by the following generation with a loving tradition - fortunately, because there are still many wine bottles waiting to be tasted.
