Bakery Uitz

The traditional bakery was founded in 1770 in Pöllau in the Hartberg-Fürstenfeld district. Since then, much has changed in the baking trade, but some of our unique recipes actually still date back to the 18th century, partially preserved in their original form, partially developed further by us. The range includes tasty bread, various types of pastries, and sweet dishes. We use high-quality raw materials that are processed into various products using traditional craftsmanship.

What has never changed, however, are the rolls and breads that the bakers produce by hand with great love, bringing a satisfied smile to the faces of visitors, who mainly come from Pöllau and the entire Hartberg-Fürstenfeld district.
Incidentally, the baked goods can not only be purchased directly at the Uitz bakery, but they also offer a delivery service and rolls on demand. Additionally, the newly designed small, directly attached Café invites you to enjoy delights right on the spot during breakfast!

Of all the products, the original Pöllauer Mugl should be particularly highlighted, which is offered in various sizes. The recipe was discovered by chance during cleaning activities. The original was written in Old High German and was translated at the university for German studies.
