Alpine inn Stroßeggwirt

The Almgasthof is located at 1,170m above sea level between the nature park communities of Gasen and Breitenau am Hochlantsch. The family-run inn also has a farm that supplies bacon, sausage and smoked meat for the inn. The own cows provide the good milk for the coffee and the juicy alpine butter. In the inn, hungry hikers get a hearty snack with their own farm products, but also warm, larger meals such as "Wiener Schnitzel", various soups and salads and many other baked, grilled and cooked foods! Add a beer or a schnapps and the hike goes on fun.

The Stroßeggwirt is located directly on the Mariazeller long-distance hiking trail. But you can also find the inn on the long-distance hiking trail "From the glacier to the wine". Another circuit, such as the Gasen mountain farmers circuit, also passes by. There is also accommodation for tired hikers, 8 double rooms and multi-bed rooms for a total of 90 people are available here.
