In the traditional alpine shelter atop Masenberg hikers and visitors can enjoy refresments as well as the wonderful view.

Below the summit cross at Masenberg, you will find a cozy shelter. For refreshments, there are snacks, drinks, as well as coffee & homemade pastries and the 7-Masenberger herb bitter - produced in-house!
Souvenirs (Glückskapellen cups, candles, etc.) and postcards are also available in the shelter.

Enjoy your stay after a hike or an excursion on Masenberg and take some time to rest a little before continuing your hike along the forest educational trail, the surrounding hiking paths, or just the way to the summit cross.

Inside, you have 50 seats available and 25 seats outside.

TIP: Be sure to also visit the Glückskapelle across the way and don't forget to sign the book at the summit cross!

"SAM" stands for "Sammeltaxi Oststeiermark" and closes the mobility gap where buses and trains do not run. The SAM stop at the business is HF 5843, you can find more stops here.
