The Alpengasthof Schanz is located at 1169 m above sea level and is a family-run business. At the inn you will find a personal atmosphere combined with traditional hospitality.
The Schanz is the starting point and hostel for many hikers, pilgrims and cross-country skiers. Excursions along the Zentralalpenweg or the Styrian Mariazellerweg, to the nearby Teufelstein or to Rosegger's birthplace on the Alpl as well as to Fischbach offer opportunities for every nature lover.
The Alpengasthof Schanz offers tired hikers 15 beds with a rustic hut character for overnight stays.
