he inn is a popular excursion destination for hikes, and this is where the wood sculpture path starts, which was designed by the chainsaw carver Erich Haider-Harrer.

At the Haider Inn, located at about 960 meters above sea level, there is much to taste. The inn is known for its excellent steaks, which come directly from the farm's own Styria Beef cattle or from ALMO beef. Moreover, the kitchen mainly prepares seasonal dishes and exclusively uses regional products. As an ALMO Genusswirt, not only is the quality of the products emphasized, but also the suitable ambiance and outstanding wines. Of course, there is something for everyone here; in addition to beef, there are also pork, chicken, vegetarian dishes, salads, soups, and homemade pastries and desserts served.

The Almenlandwirt Haider is a Kulinarum Steiermark establishment and stands for regional quality and identity.

The inn offers a breathtaking view of the "Rote Wand". Thus, several hiking trails start directly from the front door. The wooden sculpture path leading to the Gschaid-Nock is very popular. The host, Erich Haider-Harrer, carves all the sculptures you will find along the way with his chainsaw. The hike can of course be extended, for example to the Teichalm.
