Wiener Comedian Harmonists

They sing, they swing, they entertain – with familiar melodies from the 1920s and 1930s, with cool jazz numbers, ironic Viennese songs, all the way to the most wonderful opera classics like "O sole mio."
The music ensemble consists of five singers from the choir of the Vienna State Opera - two tenors, two baritones, one bass - and their pianist. They manage to consistently thrill their audience with a large dose of Viennese charm and humor.
With their grandiose interpretations, they transport the audience into the sparkling world of variety shows and stage performances from the last century, bringing the world of the original Comedian Harmonists to life. Sailors drift from harbor to harbor, wondering when Marie will finally hear them, while the stars and stripes sparkle as guitars play, and one joyfully observes in the best of moods, “the world is beautiful.”
From “The Bar at the Crocodile” to Cole Porter, from "Puttin´ on the Ritz" to Giacomo Puccini, this stage show leaves no wish unfulfilled and ensures great entertainment at the highest musical level.
