The solemn highlight of the Weiz Christmas World is the Weiz Christkindlspiel at the main square held annually. There is silence and excitement until the Christkind floats down from the heavens once again this year, making children's hearts beat faster. The traditional Christkindlspiel begins at 5:30 p.m. at the Weiz main square.

Every Advent Saturday, the Christkindlmarkt takes place in the area of the Kunsthaus-Passage, Rathausgasse, Bismarckgasse, K&K-Passage, as well as at Südtiroler Platz, all beautifully illuminated by Christmas lights from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. (glühwein stands until 9 p.m.). A diverse range of handicrafts, high-quality goods, and delicious treats are offered in a festive atmosphere.
Local clubs and charitable organizations also cater to their members, friends, and visitors in the club hut village as well as throughout the market grounds. In the glow of the Christmas lights, there are many enchanting attractions to discover in the city center. A delightful musical accompaniment is also well provided.
