Every Advent Saturday, the Christmas market takes place in the area of the Kunsthaus-Passage, Rathausgasse, Bismarckgasse, K&K-Passage, as well as at Südtiroler Platz, illuminated by beautiful Christmas lights from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. (mulled wine stalls until 9 p.m.) .

In a festive atmosphere, a diverse range of arts and crafts, high-quality products, and delightful treats is offered. The Weiz associations and charitable organizations also cater to their members, friends, and visitors in the community hut village and throughout the entire market area..

Furthermore, throughout Advent, there is a special children's fairy tale forest in the Kunsthaus passage to explore with the story tree. Additionally, one can stroll through the city in the glow of Christmas lights and admire life-sized wooden snowmen along the alleys, as well as the atmospheric wooden nativity scene in the main square.
A pleasant musical accompaniment is well provided.
