Very old Stoariegler Dixieband

There are not many bands that have remained loyal to their music and their fans for 50 years: “The Who,” the “Rolling Stones,” and the “Very Old Stoariegler Dixielandband.” The spark for its founding was the television show “Fattys Salon,” where Fatty George (clarinet), Oscar Klein (trumpet), and other virtuosos fulfilled viewers’ wishes live.
In short, Johannes Hödl founded his Dixieland band in March 1976, which, after lengthy discussions, was initially called “Stoariegler Blechmusi,”
later had an “Old” added to the name and, due to confusion with the “Stoakoglern,” ultimately mutated into the “Old Stoariegler Dixielandband” and from 2016 on became the “Very Old Stoariegler Dixielandband.” On this special evening, just one day after the seventieth birthday of the band’s founder, surprise guests will also join the band.
