That pile of tin

Fr., 30.10.2026 from 19:30 o'clock

“Da Blechhauf’n” plays brass music with a touch of irony, dance, artistry, and magic. A production for the eyes and ears. “Da Blechhauf’n” – Austrian for “The heap of metal”, abbreviated “BH” is a brass band from Austria.

The group came together through making music in the music club and during leisure time in the central Burgenland town of Neckenmarkt. The first official concert took place in 2000, and since its founding, around 1000 concerts have been performed throughout the German-speaking area, including the Netherlands and Italy.
Three of the musicians come from Burgenland, three from Styria, and one from Carinthia.
Since the founding of the Woodstock of Brass Music in 2011, they have been heard annually at the Brass Music Festival.
“Da Blechhauf’n” is now heard on a total of 9 self-produced recordings and has appeared on various music shows such as “Mei liabste Weis”, “Klingendes Österreich”, “Die Wirtshausmusikanten”, and “Servus-TV Musikantenstammtisch”.
In addition to virtuosic instrumental pieces, “da Blechhauf’n” also performs works with singing and slapstick interludes. Therefore, a concert evening is not only a concert but rather also a music cabaret.
