As summer reaches its peak, it's again: TIP-Kirta time in Gleisdorf!
On Friday, July 24, 2026 (from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 a.m.), and on Saturday, July 25, 2026 (8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.), Gleisdorf celebrates the 52nd TIP-Kirta – and thereby a piece of lived east Styrian tradition. For two days, the city center belongs to market stalls, music, rides, and above all, the people who come together here to stroll, enjoy, and celebrate together.
East Styrian Tourism, the City Marketing Gleisdorf, and the local businesses have once again put together a program that connects generations – from the morning pint atmosphere to a party after midnight. No wonder the TIP-Kirta, with thousands of visitors, is one of the biggest festivals in East Styria.

The Kirta program 2026:
Bargains, crafts, and market life

Friday kicks off traditionally with the big bargain hunt: The Gleisdorf businesses and numerous regional exhibitors transform the city center into a colorful shopping mile. 
Those looking for special pieces will find them this year on Weizer Street – there, the large craft market invites visitors to browse with handmade products and artworks.
At the parish parking lot, the amusement park awaits many big and little visitors. 

A festival for the little ones
For children, the Kirta will be even more colorful this year: In addition to the popular mini train powered by ENERGIE STEIERMARK – stop at Solar Tree, ride for free! – a new children's station with giant bubbles and a crafting station, bouncy castle fun at the main square, experiential climbing at the Alpine Club's climbing tower, and face painting and a fortune wheel at the Raiffeisenbank Gleisdorf stand await. Sumsi will, as usual, be present, and there will be plenty of fun and excitement at the puppet theater. Things will get sporty when the acrobats of the RRC New Rock Generation showcase their rock 'n' roll show at 6:00 p.m. at the main square.

Culinary delights from savory to sweet
Whether Kirta classics or new taste experiences – the Gleisdorf gastronomy serves up great dishes: Kirchtavern Gleisdorf, Fandl Hendl, Pizzeria De La Casa, Café Columbia, The Pub Gleisdorf, Candy`s Frozen & Coffee, Reina, and the Be Alive association ensure that no one goes home hungry.

Music until deep in the night
On Friday afternoon, the Jazz Jokers set the rhythm at the main square from 1:30 p.m., before the evening really takes off: From 5:00 p.m., "Erich Frei" provides good entertainment on Franz-Perl Street. In Bürgergasse, "DJ Gee" will play, and from 8:00 p.m., the Austropop and hit party with DJ Erich Fuchs kicks off. On the stage at the main square, Julico - Two Voices, one sound performs from 8:00 p.m. and then "Die Fürsten" take over at 10:00 p.m.
For those who enjoy the urban vibe, the Vanila in Bürgergasse will host a mega street party with DJ Flow Key from 6:00 p.m. to 2:00 a.m. It's relaxed in the Chill Out Area in the garden of Café Columbia – cool drinks, chill music. And for the true Kirta feeling, the legendary Tagada carousel will of course spin its rounds again.

Saturday: Kirta flair to conclude
Starting at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday, things continue leisurely: Associations and emergency organizations from the region present themselves at the main square, fire and rescue vehicles can be experienced up close, and the traditional riddle rally of the Volunteer Exchange guides the little ones through the Gleisdorf association landscape. The farmers' market takes place from 6:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. in the square between the town hall and service center. Until 1:00 p.m., people can once again stroll, chat, and enjoy before the 52nd TIP-Kirta comes to a relaxed close.
