This year, as part of the concert series "Summer in the city," the main square of Weiz will again become the musical focal point of the district capital.

Summer temperatures, holiday time enjoying and singing or swinging under the starry sky to hot rhythms: this will take place on three occasions, organized by the city marketing of Weiz in cooperation with Event-Pro Musikgenuss.

The following bands will ensure a grand atmosphere at Weizer Hauptplatz on Saturday night at 7:30 p.m.

July 18 - The Borderlords

We are The Borderlords – a rock cover band from Graz that will make Weizer Hauptplatz rock on July 18!

Our program thrives on a diverse mix of legendary rock classics from several decades. Alongside Black Sabbath, AC/DC, and other giants of rock history, you will also find Austrian icons like Dr. Kurt Ostbahn and STS in our repertoire. Each song receives our unique touch – authentically, energetically, and played with heart.

July 25 - "DeZWA
The third and already the last open-air concert as part of "Summer in the City" at Weiz Hauptplatz will bring the best Austropop classics to the stage. DeZwa will take the guests on a musical journey through Austrian music.
