Enjoy a wide variety of beef delicacies at the Beef Festival in Fischbach.

A festival in honor of the regional farming community. The local cattle farmers maintain the steep slopes in the mountain and hill areas, the pastures, meadows, and fields, and through their work shape the distinct and diverse cultural landscape. Each cow grazes on two hectares of meadows and pastures.

On the first Sunday in August, every two years, the Styrian Beef Festival organized by the ARGE Mountain Farmers and the Chamber of Agriculture will take place at the event grounds of the Sommersguter company in Fischbach. This "weatherproof" event with free admission at the Sommersguter venue offers visitors not only numerous culinary delights surrounding the beef from the region as well as rural crafts from local exhibitors, but also many other festival highlights accompanied by music.
