Cocktail made from green-white-red travel stories
ITALIAN SPRIZZ mixes a cocktail made from travel stories. A collection of happy moments, whether on a passeggiata through the streets of Rome, like the most beautiful sunset at the farthest end of the spur (Gargano). A coastal boat ride from cave to cave. A visit to the legendary Castel del Monte and the unique Trulli in Apulia. Volare in Polignano al Mare and last but not least a spectacular highlight in the cave city of Matera.

Furthermore, we will watch the woodcarvers in Sutrio and discover unofficial cultural treasures that hold Italy together in its interior. Like the story of Sali e Tabacchi or the annual music festival in Sanremo. Magic, towers, and pointed caps in Apulia and also the deeply rooted superstition that explains why a Pumo is never missing from any house in Southern Italy, that 13 is a lucky number, and that one should always carry a Cornicello. In Rome, the best rooftop bars are revealed, and sunsets are experienced together with the Romans on their own "balcony." 

The traveler literally stumbles over the history of the Sanpietrini, listens to the talking fountains, enjoys her 5 o'clock tea in the oldest tea salon in Rome, relaxes in the beautiful parks, and discovers at the corners and walls of Trastevere not only graffiti but also a touching spirituality. She visits the cat forum and walks through the Holy Door in St. Peter's Basilica. At the age of five, I already knew that a writer was in me. My mother, an elementary school teacher, took me - lacking care - with her to class, where I passively learned to read in my play corner. By the time I started school, I could read fluently and became a bookworm. 

I have always written. My drawer is full of unpublished short stories. Articles have been published in magazines about pilgrimage and my columns written over two years for a Liechtenstein newspaper. When blogging became fashionable, I was immediately excited about it. For years, I have been running a blog and the positive feedback eventually led me to write books. 

From 2012 to 2015, I published the guidebooks "Rucksackgeschichten" - Setting off towards a successful life with light luggage (GfiVE Verlag) and "Rucksackgeschichten" - A guide to courage competence (Novum Verlag).

As a co-author, the sales cartoon "Geschichte(ln) des Verkaufs" (GfiVE Verlag) was published. 

My third own book "Today I Set Off" is a mindfulness book and spiritual companion for pilgrimages. (Verlag Styria 2019)

The fourth book GOING - finding inner freedom | Verlag Rucksackgeschichten® 2021 was written during the lockdowns of 2020-2021 and provides deep insights into my own biography. 

The fifth book "Italia da sola - 100 Days, 100 Places, 100 Moments of Happiness" was released in 2024 by Hermagoras/Mohorjeva Verlag.

The sixth book and the sequel "Italian Sprizz - Cocktail from green white red travel stories" will be published in March 2026 by the same publisher.
