Enjoy the festive season in the atmospheric surroundings of Pöllau Castle.



Far away from the hustle and bustle, a very special Advent magic unfolds here: soft candlelight, a sparkling sea of lights in the pine forest, and the historic backdrop of the castle create an atmosphere of peace, contemplation, and warmth—quiet, atmospheric, and touching.

“Wias früher woa”—a small, fine Advent for young and old

Stroll through a stylish exhibition with around 50 carefully selected exhibitors who present artistic handicrafts, lovingly crafted gift ideas, and regional delicacies in the festively decorated castle.

In the idyllic Brunnenhof courtyard, homemade food and fragrant hot drinks invite you to linger. Here you can experience Advent in its most original form.

A varied supporting program makes the Pöllau Castle Advent a special experience for the whole family: atmospheric readings of Christmas stories invite you to pause and reflect, the Christ Child and St. Nicholas make children's eyes light up, and animal visitors such as alpacas lend the Advent market a very special charm.
