Old Varieties & New Systems
At the center are 120 rare fruit varieties that can be discovered and recognized. A specialist lecture also demonstrates how modern high-stem production systems connect biodiversity and contemporary management.
Variety identification: Bring unknown fruit varieties from your garden or your orchard. For each tree, 10 to 15 fruits are needed in a paper bag or box. Please do not wash the fruits.
When? Saturday, October 17 from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Where? Seminar Room Schloss Pöllau
Registration one week before the event.
Participation fee: 15 €, free for members of the mountain and nature conservation.
