Mulbratlfest
If you are a fan of Styrian traditional costumes, love good food and excellent wines, and appreciate great entertainment, then the Weizer MULBRATLFEST is the right place for you! Because it is the culinary Weizer customs festival.
On August 29th, the Weizer Mulbratlfest invites you again to the city center to celebrate under the motto "Wine, Mulbratl, and Song." Since 1995, the festival has been connecting regional cuisine with Styrian folk music and attracting numerous visitors to Weiz.
The centerpiece is the "Mulbratl" - a tender, smoked rack of lamb from East Styria. Accompanied by fine wines, schnapps, and juices from the region, the festival becomes a sensory enjoyment experience. Sustainability plays an important role: the celebration is held with its own Weiz glasses and Mulbratl boards.
Five different folk music groups provide the musical accompaniment, and a "moving" supporting program with play areas, face painting, bouncy castles, and much more is offered for the little visitors.
