Mulbratlfest
If you are a fan of Styrian traditional costumes, love good food and excellent wines, and appreciate great entertainment, then the Weizer MULBRATLFEST is the right place for you! Because it is the culinary Weizer customs festival.
On August 29, the Weizer Mulbratlfest once again invites you to the city center to celebrate under the motto "Wine, Mulbratl and Song." Since 1995, the festival has connected regional cuisine with Styrian folk music and attracts numerous visitors to Weiz.
The focus is on the "Mulbratl" - a tender, smoked rack from East Styria. Accompanied by fine wines, schnapps, and juices from the region, the festival becomes a sensual pleasure experience. Sustainability plays an important role: The celebration is hosted with its own Weiz glasses and Mulbratl boards.
The musical accompaniment is provided by four different folk music groups, and for the little visitors, a "moving" supporting program is offered, including a games course, face painting, a bouncy castle, and much more. A traditional costume fashion show and the raffle of "Mulbratl baskets" round off the folk program.
