Long night of museums

The Ölmühle Fandler invites you to the "Long Night of Museums".

Experience museums in a different way: watch the press master at work, stimulate your taste buds, and take home exciting background knowledge about oil production. This year, the ORF Long Night of Museums will also take place for the first time at the Ölmühle Fandler.

On this evening, you can experience live in the traditional press of the Ölmühle Fandler what is usually only occasionally visible to visitors from the outside: how finest oils are created from carefully selected seeds and nuts. Take a look behind the scenes and gain insights into what oil production looks like. Follow the path from raw material to finished oil – from the stone mill to the warming pan to the stamp press. Many trade secrets will be revealed: from the careful selection of raw materials and the peculiarities of each type of pressed product to the indispensable intuition of the press masters and the 100-year history of Fandler.

Regional tickets available for purchase at the shop of the Ölmühle Fandler.
With the regional ticket, all participating museums in East Styria can be visited in one evening.
