On Wednesday, October 7, at 7:30 p.m., two of the most renowned German family doctors and bestselling authors, Jan-Uwe Rogge and Matthias Jung, will take the stage at forumKLOSTER together. In their entertaining yet informative cabaret program, they take parents and caregivers on a turbulent journey of experiences – from the terrible twos to the loose tooth puberty. “I can do it myself!”, “That’s unfair!”, “But all the others are allowed!” – family life is filled with big words from small people, endless discussions, dragging in the morning, and the question of how to properly cut a loaf of bread. Children don’t want to go to bed, the food never tastes right, and somewhere between daycare, school, and media use, new challenges constantly lurk. Then there are the big doubts: Am I too strict or too lenient? Is my child ready for school – and if so, for which one? And am I myself ready for the island? After all, children are gifts... especially when they are asleep or at grandma and grandpa's.
