There they have found each other. Two master comedians, two full-blooded musicians, two likable characters, two exceptional performers, and above all, two friends. Thomas Stipsits and Viktor Gernot finally together on stage with their cabaret program "Lotterbuben"!
That the two, both as soloists and as team players, count among the fixed stars of the Austrian entertainment scene, they have impressively proven over the past decades. As 'Lotterbuben', they will portray characters with joy in playing, humor, a love for storytelling, and curiosity, sing songs, play guitar, and parody. And they take their audience on a journey through reflections and perceptions of two prominent Austrian cabaret stars.
A glance at our world full of irony and satire, between love for humanity and incredulous amazement. And all of this with the competence of two established men, practically representatives of two generations. Generation X meets a Millennial. The old white man encounters the forty-something. An old jazzer meets the Austropopper. The childless one meets the father of two.
And always underlying is the fact that behind these diligently serious and undoubtedly credible protagonists, there are also two seasoned 'Lotterbuben'. Rarely malicious and always with a wink, these rascals, these neighborhood characters, these 'Lotterbuben', play and sing their way through their first joint program.
