Feeling like Italy? Then join us for an Italian evening filled with "aperitivo" and green-white-red travel stories from a solo female traveler over 60.
An "aperitivo" means much more for Italians than just a drink; it’s a special way of life. The author Ingeborg Hofbauer presents her sixth and newly released book “Italian Sprizz” and takes us on a journey full of joyful moments and a lot of Italianita'.
Starting from Friuli, the journey takes us to Rome, where she stayed for 3 weeks. Along the east coast, she explores the spur (Gargano) and the picturesque towns in Apulia. It goes all the way down to the tip of the boot and further to Matera in Basilicata. With her trusty bus Freddie, she masters some exciting challenges. Along the way, the famous dolce va niente is not neglected. The enthusiastic solo traveler also shares valuable travel tips, humorous anecdotes, and the original recipe for the drink “Italian Sprizz”.
