Best Regards from somewere-Viva México Edition
Between Cliché and Reality
On November 14, we’re heading back into the distance directly from Schloss Pöllau. At least on the big screen.
As part of his project “Greetings from Somewhere", Michael Fischer presents the third edition of his calendar and, of course, brings stories from his latest adventures. This time, we're headed to the Far East: this year's edition is themed Made in China
The legendary Middle Kingdom. Always on everyone's lips – in politics, in business, at the China buffet on Hartberg’s main square. But is everything in China really just prefab housing, big cities, and mass production? Do they eat all kinds of animals there? Or Eight Treasures? And what about the well-known sack of rice that constantly falls over there? With these and many more questions in tow, Michael has explored the fourth largest country in the world – or as much as is possible with a 30-day tourist visa. As a souvenir, there will be plenty of pictures, videos, and stories of fire horses, marriage proposals, and of course, the Middle Kingdom on November 14.
Afterwards, the new edition of the calendar “Greetings from Somewhere" will be presented – with many places you’ve never heard of.
The proceeds from the calendar will once again benefit families in the Pöllau Valley who need support.
