Baked apple magic

"BAKED APPLE MAGIC"

In the Opflland at Christmas time, there are baked apples, it's such a joy,
with nut filling and vanilla sauce, the size is usually quite large.

For fancy apples, you need
a raw apple, a pan, and some baking paper.
You make the nut filling quite fine and then slide it into the oven.

In the pan, it has to bake for a while,
as Grandma in the kitchen would say

"Jesus Maria" here it is time again, here comes another beautiful time.

Because Christmas is actually supposed to be, much, much quieter than the last few years.
No stress and no running around, the Christmas magic gets lost in this,
no packing gifts, no money spent, the time used to be beautiful.

So folks, don't get crazy - make baked apples or the magic is gone!
